Did you expect anything different like the majority over premiership players over-paid prima-donna's :-(
I think he's got an obsession with Spurs

He sang the same song last year, just like his career, no improvement
Not as bad as some....little more than others.....bit arrogant, but there are loads of footballers with that label.
Is this because of the song he sang on the celebration bus yesterday against Tottenham fans?

He was immature, wrong and stupid for doing so, and owes an apology to Spurs and their fans, imo

And we are gooners in this household.....two eldest went up with their mates to see Cup Final on Saturday.....had a blast.....saw no trouble all day, which is just as it should be.
Yogi, I don't think he owes Spurs fans an apology, those songs are part of the banter during matches but to sing it during your own clubs FA Cup celebrations are quite sad and pathetic.

It's a shame that for a club of their size the fans only have half a dozen songs and 4 of them are about Spurs
Yeah, agreed, spanky......but as you mention, not on the bus with his team on their FA Cup celebrations........that's why I think he should apologise.........Spurs enjoy their rivalry with Arsenal and vice versa....but he overstepped the mark, imo.
Brings back memories of Emelyn Hughes' "Liverpool are magic, Everton are tragic."
Can come across as a total prat, but also has a better side, would suggest that you read a bit about the support he provided to Jack Marshall (a child who sadly died of a brain tumour) and his family, taking a lot of time and effort to personally help out, especially giving the child's older brother Josh (who was being bullied) assistance to overcome this.

I can understand the banter thing. What I don't get is the need for the bad language in front of your own fans, including youngsters who worship you. He should apologise to Arsenal fans as much as Tottenham supporters IMO. After all, Arsenal is a club with great tradition, one that does things correctly, and with a certain class. If I were a Gooner, I'd be embarrassed by his behaviour.
Immature and a bit thick are the words that occur to me.
Even though I'm a Spurs fan I think he would make a great future England captain, although doing this once again I'm sure the FA will frown upon it.

He does do a lot of good work outside of football though, he keeps a lot of doctors and nurses in work by constantly being injured :o)
A bit of a non story I think.
Non-story indeed.
We'll never know if a Spurs player would have done the same thing had they won their final :-)
Just heard on the news, he is being charged by the FA with misconduct for his foul mouthed chants on the bus during Arsenal's FA Cup victory celebrations.
Thought he wouldn't get away with it, silly boy.
Thanks for link, tony.....he'll probably get a fine, which he can easily afford, but what most hurts is that if he is banned for a certain amount of games, it affects Arsenal football club, at the start of the season, and that will hurt the fans.

If it were up to me, no ban, after all he personally did it....and fine him heavily so he thinks about it and wont repeat it.
I think your right, yogi. I suspect a fine and a ban.
Sadly I think so too, tony...usually that is the norm.
