Azed 2,263 Eightsome Reels

Having trouble with three reels .
For the life of me I cannot fit BARRACAN (at reel23) in with LAGOONAL(at reel 16) and CARACARA (at reel 24)
I have barracan starting with B in the sw corner and going anti clockwise .
Caracara staring with c in the se corner and going anti clockwise and lagoonal
starting with L in the top middle square and going anti clockwise .
Barracan will only fit as baracann. I must have gone wrong somewhere.
This probably won't make sense to anybody who isn't doing this crossword .
Help much appreciated before I chuck it in the bin !

Thanks jo ..I've had a look at that and all the answers ,unchecked letters and his two starting reels agree with what I have. I must have a reel going the wrong way somewhere although I've filled the grid.
I'll go through it again .Thanks for your help.
