Not sure of the point you are making - I was attempting to understand QuizmasterG's remark - the implication that AB members are dense rankled with me somewhat.

I didn't mean to imply all Ab members are dense but there are some pretty basic questions on this site are there not?

To address your last point, yes there are many seemingly simple questions asked here daily - however we don't know everyone's situation.

A similar charge was laid at one lovely gentleman who was recovering from brain surgery and trying to get his grey matter back in gear.

That's one example, there are others.


I am as keen as anyone to save quizzes from being spoiled but I reiterate, nicer ways of doing it.

Quizmaster - I believe that you are forgetting that some people are not as well informed as others and that is why they ask for help with their questions and quizzes. If we were all equally clever the AB would serve no useful purpose.

This is an open forum and anyone is free to ask and answer whatever they wish.

My answer was in response to the rudeness mainly Mamyalynne, but not from you.
People like QuizmasterG and a few others only turn up to tell others off. It really gets my goat and if they're that bothered by it, why come here at all? I'm sorry if you thought I aimed that at you.
I realise you choose not to answer questions where the quiz has requested it. That's fine by me.
