Totally agree. How it can be called a sport seems a bit farcical when the sole intention of two 'people' is to inflict as much punishment, personal injury and harm as they can. Do the same in the street and they would get locked up. Same as football, ruled by finance so it won't change.

I watched (on telly) the Brave Blossoms of Japan beat the Springboks in September, so I know anything is possible. It is nice to see an upset, even when I don't have any money on the result.

I agree with others, it should be banned, we don't allow animals to fight for sport, so why do we allow humans?

I can't watch boxing on TV but I can watch it live. TV makes it look far too brutal (my cousin was a boxer)

I'm not a fan either. I only ever watched my cousin box and that's because he wanted me to.

The last fight he had he broke his jaw in the first round. He carried on fighting and won but had to get his jaw wired up. I don't understand where the pleasure is in that but I do understand how much work goes into it.

I've never seen a world heavyweight title fight in which the challenger has time to keep pulling up his boxing shorts and the champion hasn't got the guile to stick one on him.

Klitschko thought he would win just by going through the motions. He wants a rematch but who would want to see it?

I agree with others about not wanting to watch two huge men try to bash each others brains out. I like watching Olympic boxing though, where they have some head protection.
I am totally surprised by the result of the Klitschko/Fury match. I was convinced Klitscko would win.

You think that they edit in certain brutal incidents when they televise it do you? The sport is brutal whether or not you view in on a TV screen or live, you are still viewing what actually takes place through the human eye.
