Togo It was a good game and the usual highlight for me in the 6 Nations although I am half Welsh but English born and bred.Ireland never make it an easy victory for their opponents and I for one was not disappointed in a game I always enjoy watching. :-)

Much to the amusement and bewilderment of my fellow imbibers in my local I always wear the England shirt when they play but always the Red shirt when Wales play anyone else other than England. I give up explaining to them. They seem totally bewildered especially as my surname is more Aryan than Hitler. :-(
Thanks btw for your enquiry with regard to my absence. I have you to thank for me posting this as well as some other good ABers. :-)

I'm personally not against threads 'eventually' going off topic but it is hardly fair to criticise one off off topic subject matter and not the other.
I like all sports and have been to many football and rugby finals, both great days out ... but as for memories the winner is football. Ultimately there is no greater memory than seeing a wonderful shot hit the back of the onion bag.

Why do rugby toffs always bring football into the conversation whenever someone says they don't like rugby//
A strange anomaly that I agree. I note a lot of people regard a "toff" as a quivering lipped, cry baby, nancy boy. A Fop even.
Never seen any one like that on a Rugby Field. Now I have seen a few tears from Gasgoine, Rooney and Beckham. :-)
