If he wishes to come here to insult the English and their choice to Brexit
Why doesn't he (a)stay back in Ireland and (b) why do people make him a millionaire for being insulted by him?
Perhaps if he had spent more time concerning himself with his own family rather than castigating all and sundry for not following his lead in political posturing and virtue signalling around the world then his family may of been larger. He must of heard the song about 'The drugs don't work'

I think Band Aid went to his head and he thought he was the second coming. Now he is just an embarrassment like many other ageing stars of the 70's . To be honest I don't think hes that rich is he? not like Jagger or McCartney.

As everyone knows he is a bit of a k**bhead then it says
much of those who pay to be insulted by him and place him on his tub thumping pedestal. Soap taken externally plus orally wouldn't go amiss.
Perhaps he should perform for nothing and then his audience could afford to dress like he does. Personally I think clean clothes from Primart could only improve his own personal appearance. :-)

I thought from your OP that Sir Bob was at a speaking engagement, but it seems it was a festival.
Logically therefore, people paid to see The Boomtown Rats, and other artists so they didn’t actually pay to hear him ‘speak’ per se.
It sounds as though he may have overdone the refreshments before coming on, which explains but does not excuse his behaviour.
I don’t think you can call him ‘untalented’ – clearly that is not the case, but he has not covered himself in glory here with his boorish behaviour.
That said, I don’t believe you can always blame the parents of adults for their shortcomings – we have no idea of Sir Bob’s relationships with his children.

jourdain - //andy-hughes... I'm probably nit-picking, but, honestly, if you have to sing in public you lay off alcohol......it plays havoc with the vocal chords. //
Not at all - but I would suggest that the vast majority of rock and pop musicians have imbibed something (in varying degrees) before they hit the stage, and their voices don't appear to suffer.
