I've watched United for a long time now. I saw Duncan Edwards play. I went to school with Brian Kidd. Nobby Stiles lived round the corner from me. Just a little testimony that. This United team are the biggest load of back sliders I've seen in 60 years of watching them. Mata is the only one who seems to put in any effort. I feel sorry for the young players, Lingard, Rashford, Martial having to play with this load spongers. Pogba is the same player that United had before they sold him to Juventus. Yes, he has good touches, ball control etc but then he passes it backwards. It needs a BIG clear out this summer and blend new players with young ones. Get rid of the back sliders. They're only interested in shopping and supping.
They are part of the "elite" which has made the premiership boring and predictable. Leicester were a breath of fresh air but a one-off I think. Money sometimes does not talk.
Most United fans have accepted we won't see the heady days of SAF again. Far from getting carried away but last night they showed glimpses of a team playing for each other.
