So, I applied and was accepted for a paid neurological survey re reactions to adverts on TV. I arrived at the building and was led to a room where they placed a swimming cap style cap full of holes on my head. They then 'injected' a liquid into the holes and then attached electrodes to them, plus electrodes either side of my eyes to monitor blinking, and one on my nose. At this point I must have looked a complete wally and was feeling very surreal. I then get led into a room all on my own with a huge TV screen, a camera filming me and a keypad. To cut a long story short I had to react to whatever was on the screen and they monitored my reactions via my eye movements etc. On way out in lift there was this American guy who clearly winds people up daily as he said oh have you just done the neurological survey? Yes I said. Ohhh you do know they've infiltrated your brain and you'll have horrific nightmares tonight about Donald Trump, telling you to assassinate him. Erm, okay..,,..., but after all that I got paid £45 for 40 mins so can't complain!!
