I've Been Robbed

Really...some dirtbag stole a bag of shopping from me on the bus.
I'd put it in the little area behind the first seat...there was already a bag there.
My ride is only ten minutes or so, and about 2 stops before mine I looked up to see my bag was gone. I thought I was imagining things...I wish. :-((
Luckily it was "just" food...plus a new lippy....grrr. Glad it wasn't pressies.
I keep hoping that maybe they took it by mistake...somehow I doubt it.

Phone the police. Also, virtually all buses have CCTV these days, so there may actually be footage of the incident.

Perhaps try ringing the bus company. It may have been handed in.

What a horrible thing to happen. Let's hope it was a mistake and whoever took it hands it in (though I suspect it may have been an opportunistic theft) :-(

I'm so sorry, Pastsa......If I thought it was someone who uses that route regularly I'd take to leaving an attractive looking carrier bag...full of rubbish..... in the same place......maybe add some primed mouse traps..... :-(

Sorry for your loss but this reminds me of something I heard of years ago.

A woman had a half-bottle of whisky stolen from her bag. Unfortunately for the thief it did not contain whisky; it was a urine sample she was taking to the doctor's.

I took s/o else's brief case home once
the contents werent that interesting ...
I mean I was covered in confusion when the mistake was discovered and people wondered how I had got into the house and so on

Sorry to hear this, Pasta. Same thing happened to me around Christmas Time. I lost 4 bags of shopping - all in all about £100 worth.

pasta happened to me some years back. bus company will have CCTV.. do not put anything down at the moment , even for a minute at your feet professional thieves around
