Vergo=Virgo!
Where's the Best Answer going? WHERE'S THE BEST ANSWER GOING???!!
Many years ago when I was a wage slave in London, I used to change tube trains at Edgware Road where there was a station announcer who used to inform us that the train approaching would be calling *to* Baker Street, Kings Cross etc. Used to drive me crazy! I always wanted to shout "It's calling *AT* Baker Street, not *TO* Baker Street.

But, of course, I never did.

yes dave but this is about a well known snooker term and virgo insists on saying wrong. I accept your point of grammar but this is not really a grammar issue.

Watch it on Eurosport,no Virgo on there.
Yes, Eurosport is 'intacta'.
The Beeb do like their eccentricities and foibles.
I've been noting Steve Davis' use of 'tough'. He's obviously so absorbed that he's missed the fact that it's grown men jabbing at balls with a stick and not coal mining or emergency medicine.

Pressure, screw, deep screw, shot to nothing, Ronnie, The Crucible, Hazel morphing into your granny before your eyes and Jason in jeans.

It's art!
"Yes, Eurosport is 'intacta'."

Superb! Best answer by miles... :-)
Cross Country trains station announcer has to carefully say 'Cross Country TrainS...Service to London St Pancras' or wherever so as to separate the 'S' of trains and the 'S' of service otherwise it would sound like 'Cross Country Train(singular) Service. Its a little off putting and sounds strangulated.
Eurosport is “ intacta”. What does that mean.?
Thanks,douglas,never heard that since schooldays 50 years ago.
Yes, Eurosport is 'intacta'.

Denton, it was a response to your post, No Virgo on Eurosport.
