It isn’t VAR that’s wanted it is some decent Premier League officials .They want VAR to do their job for them instead of being able to spot over the top tackles and offsides themselves.

What we need is for someone to invent a pair of glasses that will enable the referee to see incidents from as many angles as the multitude of tv cameras. They they need never call a wrong decision again :-/
I agree, just listening to comments on 'talksport' that there has been a great deal of poor decisions this season (or lack of them taking responsibility), especially in the past few weeks.
I watch quite a lot of football - got the Liverpool v Spurs game on as we speak - and the number of times i have heard a commentator or pundit cry "Penalty!" or "That's a red!" only to change their minds on seeing another 3 different angles. Easy for them, terribly difficult for the match officials. And this from a guy whose team have only been given 1 penalty in about a million years. Actually it's one in 67 games - we did have one awarded earlier in same match, only for VAR to take it off us!
