Should They Introduce 10 Mins In The Bin For A Yellow Card In Football?

Yes, initially they'll end up with a lot in the bin but very quickly the managers would sort it and we'd all have a better game without dissent and feigning injury.

Look at the mess they've made of the offside rule, for instance. I remember back to playing for my school and EVERYONE knew what the offside rule was. They would make the introduction of a 'sin bin' way too complicated for mere mortals to understand and it would be left to VAR (when it's introduced) to sort out every little foul.
At the moment, 5 yellows = suspension. Perhaps they could reduce that to 3?

ken surely the decision is not affected, if they give a yellow card for whatever reason then that is 10 in the bin so no change in the decision making process merely the punishment. You'd find that very quickly the managers would introduce an internal discipline system that would drastically reduce the number of YCs reducing dissent, diving, feigning injury etc making it a better game for everyone.
Far easier for a ref to wave a yellow card than to deprive a players team of his assistance for 10 mins, TTT. Yellows are brandished far too easily by some, and not enough by others which, obviously frustrates players, managers and fans alike. Not all bookings are warranted and there are some refs who are intimidated when officiating at the big clubs. I know what you say makes perfect sense. But that's a quality the rulers of the game do not recognise.
