Just curious for your opinions as I’m being given all different sorts of answers.
I have an online FB group where I advertise all the products I sell, and where I take orders. Have had it for about 2 years. Anyway, I was talking to a friend who has a similar group and she was saying that every year about September time she gives a raffle ticket free with every order she delivers, and then in December she does a draw and the prize is a huge hamper of various goodies/products.
I thought this was a fab idea and told Mr Smow and he said no you can’t do that as it’s gambling and FB won’t allow it. So I spoke to another couple of people, including my friend and she said no it’s not, she’s openly done it for years and FB have never said a thing.
So whose right??

It might be more beneficial to your business to create a promotional post and state that everyone who shares it, get entered into a draw. On the given date you select one of the sharers at random for a prize. The prize could be a small free gift or a small discount on their next order, but you will have reached a new bunch of customers.
