Welcome to AnswerBank Bodmas (that name brings back memories of year 1 maths at school - shudders).
It would probably be better if you posted in Quizzes & Puzzles section (more like minded people will visit there).
Please also post details of the quiz.
Thanks
In the first ever F1 Grand Prix (at Silverstone on 13th May 1950) there were six constructors who had entries: Alfa Romeo; Alta; English Racing Automobiles (ERA); Ferrari; Maserati; Talbot-Lago.
Hopefully you have a few letters and the total number to help you determine which one was fourth.
Not necessarily, NJ. Formula One was agreed as a recognised formula in 1946. There could have been manufacturers who joined and then went bust or decided not to compete.
Yes thanks Zacs. I always think of F1 beginning with the first GP but of course you're quite correct. F1 had been up and running a while before the World Championship was launched.
If only Bodmas would provide us with the other info he has (total letters, letters already completed) it might be easier to help!
