What bad luck for George Russell. The Mercedes team messed it up for both him and Bottas.
His big chance and they ruined it!

They fitteed the wrong tyres on Russel's car and in teh confusion could not find the correct tyres for Bottas's car (details are confusing, but it seems he may have been fitted with Bottas's old tyres). Bottas's stop took 27 seconds. Russel had to pit again to fit the correct tyres and went out 5th behind Bottas, 4th. Russell managed to get back to second and was chasing down Russell when he gained a puncture and had to pit again putting him out of contention.

I can think of many. One in particular that springs to mind is basketball. I've not watched many matches but every one I have has ended up 104-102 (or similar). It's simply end to end nonsense, with players of 7ft 6ins and over (smaller players need not apply) chucking a ball through a hoop (usually from above due to their excessive height).
