Thousands of fans were protesting outside Old Trafford against United's owners, the Glazers. Several hundred fans got into the ground, with a small number causing damage. Safety concerns led to the game being postponed.

The Glazers are going nowhere so United fans had better get used to it.I’m sure if they win the Europa Cup a lot of that will be forgotten at least temporarily.

The ideal punishment would be to award the match to Liverpool; United fans would see the double-whammy of their behaviour giving the title to City. Perhaps it would teach them to behave in future.

with a lot less publicity
however as the premier league would be the biggest losers if the
"Big 6" were to leave then this way the whole world gets to know that the "fans" are not happy
so just more publicity with the fans being used as pawns
