What have you been up to in this fabulous weather?

I’ve hardly been in and when I have it’s been to sit out on our decking, tan building very nicely in preparation for our holiday hopefully

Had 2 (just...sob!!) days with daughter and her partner. Was supposed to be 3, but their car got cancelled and they had to schlep down by bus. An agonising, hot journey...they arrived Saturday at 4...back on bus Monday at 3:45. We spent the time eating...a lot, and drinking...a lot. Chatting when our mouths weren't full. Can hardly wait until next...

That’s lovely I have been gardening under a large hat and factor 100 and taking the dogs swimming
Hi Bobbi. We went to look at furniture today and then popped into a tile place on the way back.

Now in the pub garden just ordering some drinks. We had a cheeky lunch out too today.

Sounds perfect, did you take the little fella or was he at Nursery ?
I was furniture shopping too yesterday and working today.
We have just had a bbq.
What’s your favourite thing to cook on the bbq?
Tigger how exciting what did you buy?
I love a bit of furniture shopping almost as much as a pastrami sandwich
Yes he went to Nursery today but then we got asked if we'd made a payment. I was a bit confused because he gets 30 hours free childcare. Not this week apparently because it's half-term!

He's having a sleepover with OH's parents tonight.

Private nurseries are such a rip off ,my friends little granddaughter is around Miles’s age and her days are Mon,Thursday and Friday , but she still has to pay the same amount when it’s a BH !
I've been looking at corner or chez sofas, Martin. Trouble is if I order now it won't arrive till Sept. Also looked at fridge freezers with water and ice dispenser in Curry's and curtains in Ikea.
Well they are a business
Did you buy anything nice, Tiggs?

We want a corner sofa but we are not on the same page in terms of size, style etc.

We're having one of those big media units built on the opposite side of the kitchen / diner to the actual kitchen and need big corner sofa to go in that area of the room.
I love those fridge freezers but you have to plumb them in.
I need to go to IKEA to get some storage boxes
After all that trapesing around all I got was a curtain and curtain rail with parts for my French doors.
Hiya "Bobs" it has been scorchio up here. Both promenades have been rammed but we don't care, it is good to see people getting out of their lockdown shells again. We have made use of the weather to nail the garden chores before we travel South at the weekend. Trying to leave things as easy as possible for friends of ours who have volunteered for watering duties whilst we are away. They have been younger and now have no garden of their own, but will come and sit in the sun in ours and dead head and water for us. My veg all looks good, but some "pesky critter" had my Cucumbers,. Lucky I had a couple of spares in the cloche just in case. Looks like a bit of rain tomorrow but still warm. My white bits have receded considerably.
we're coming under a thunder amber warning overnight, so its over...quite a bit of cloud out there now but pleasant enough. Yesterday was coffee down in the Falmouth Plaza and hearing all about the Governmental stuff-ups - that could make for a good diary in the DT or DM. It starts with if you and your business want compensation for closing down for the G7 meeting, you have to sign the Official Secrets Act and your staff too....if you shout loud enough and threaten lawyers, you get more! The security is now building up!
They do no-plumbing fridge freezers. You just fill up a water container in the fridge compartment. I found a nice Samsung one which I'm comparing prices on.
Surely not St Ives, Mr Togo Bidet(n)......?
DT - I saw that the SW have a storm warning. Summer is 3 days of heat and a thunderstorm
Too, too many people around to bother going out and so much traffic so just staying in the garden. Going to meet up with some friends but we have all agreed we can wait until most of them have gone back.

Wish visitors knew how to drive though. Roads and lanes not really meant for the speed that some of them think is necessary. Just hope they don't meet tractors or farm wagons going the other way.
