Has been recalled to the England test team I'm glad to see. Hopefully that nasty business of those old tweets will be forgotten.

have you been watching the t20? i was on the edge of my seat last night
Question Author
I listened to it from the bedroom (air con in bedroom, not in sitting room) but watched the last 10 overs. Honestly thought they were going to blow it!
"Hopefully that nasty business of those old tweets will be forgotten. " - well you seem to want to dig them up!
me too. i dont have sky sports so i watch "watching" via bbc website
^^^^^ just my thoughts TTT !
I agree - great match last night.

As for Mr Robinson, if we all had to be punished for indiscretions made as teenagers, the stocks would be full ... I'm pleased he's back.
Yes bednobs, I was following it on the net - the tension was unbearable (as Mozzi says, almost expecting England to blow it).

Why is this thread "digging them up" then Tora? This is congratulatory of his recall. If you want to dig up the original post about his suspension, you'll see I thought it was unjust from the start.
And in your dotage TTT.
yes, I thought ABers were getting hysterical about his career being destroyed forever - it was obvious they were keeping him out of sight for the bare minimum of time, considering he thought it a good idea to label a tweet #racist just in case anyone missed the point.
Mozz: "Why is this thread "digging them up" then Tora?" - by the inclusion of the entirely superfluous second sentence in your OP.
Question Author
It's relevant to why he was suspended in the first place.
Mozz: Still superfluous especially if you genuinely hoped the tweets would be forgotten.
///Hopefully that nasty business of missing a match to clap for NHS staff and help old folk cross the road will be forgotten.

fixed it for you, Mozz. Mustn't go offending the woke brigade by mentioning facts!
The link mentions the reason for his being banned.

'Robinson was given a fine and an eight-match ban, five of which are suspended for two years, for "a number of offensive tweets" he sent between 2012 and 2014, but earlier this month was cleared to return to international duty.'
Question Author
Now now boys, let's not use logic to thwart Tora's attempts at troublemaking.

I added the "superficial" sentence because non -cricket fans may not recognise his name, but would probably remember the reason for the suspension.
Question Author
Sorry, "superfluous" . Don't want to misquote Mr Tora.
.....Methinks he dost protest too much!
it does look a teenzy weenzy bit like you were trying to resurrect the whole thing Mozz me old china, especially with the "what me?" floundering since!
