You're confusing us Brits again!
Here in the UK (and, indeed, throughout Europe), the Earth wire is green & yellow, the Live wire is blue and the Neutral wire is brown. Our plugs are different to yours too:

(Our electrical supply is different as well, at 230V AC, rather than 120V AC).
In the USA, where I assume you are, Earth is green, Live is black and Neutral is white:
