Will she ever regain her US Open form ?
Hope the halcyon days are not already over at such a young age

If by "halcyon days" you mean her winning further Grand Slams, I believe they are over. I predicted, after she won the US Open, that she would never win another Slam event. In the US last year everything went spectacularl y right for her. The stars were aligned, the draw fell in her favour. She is a fine player and I do not wish her to fail. She is a fine player and I do not wish her to fail. I just don't think she has what it takes to win big tournaments.

mozz, I am backing you up, I chime with your phrase: "here's nothing like success to get the British public baying for failure. " is correct, I'm not calling you a 5C I'm talking about people like SB, Gromit etc want her to fail mainly because she is British and as you say many like them love to denigrate and devalue our sports people.
I don't see the OP as "wanting her to fail" Tora. In fact Sticky said that he hoped "the Halcyon days are not over".
I'm talking about the British public (and most definitely the British press) in general, who love to build young sportsmen (or singers, entrepreneurs or celebrities in general) up, only to knock them down at the first available opportunity. It seems a bit of a British trait. (I know you weren't calling me a 5C here, but you have in the past. My point was that it's a term you do love to throw around)

come on Mozz, certainm quarters wish and celebrate anything that doesn't work out or if it does work out they cheery pick stats to "prove" it hasn't. Gromit's been doing that for 2 years over the pandemic. Doesn't matter what the government does. He never explains how his beloved Labour would have done any different or any better. Then there is SB, jno Canary, all the Scots.......a right motley anti British crew.
Perhaps you should watch how you write your posts SB, because you often come across like TTT says.
With regard to Emma R, like NJ I dont think she will win again like that. Doesnt mean she wont have a good tennis career although looking as stunning as she does it may be better to go the 'model' route.

Voted for Brexit and have only ever voted Conservative " - well you come across as a card carrying anti British lefty me old china.

Of course you do
Because I have differing opinions to you

I have served my country so I am obviously more British than you will ever be
Get over it ! Lol

It's stupid to write somebody off from ever winning Slam titles again based on nine matches played over five months. It's particularly weird to say that you don't think she "has what it takes to win big tournaments" when she proved that she very much does at literally her second attempt -- which is, not incidentally, faster than anybody else has managed to achieve it in the Open Era.
Give her time. In principle, Emma's tennis career has another 15 years or so. It got off to a spectacular start, and now it's not looking so healthy. But we're still not that far into it.
