PS - I thought the all women team of officials in the Germany match were very good indeed.
Germany are not the strong force they once were, but have to say with no disrespect Japan are looking quite good so far.

The Japan goal is a great advert for the game?
We will see...perhaps.
Japan we’re skillful and their work ethic was fantastic. Not only are they through, they’ve topped the group! Wish I’d had a £5 on that 2 weeks ago.
Belgium's exit is a bit of a surprise with the talent they have.

Ageing talent, who looked tired.
hi Woy
you need a lateral - innit? ( lateral view photie)

the barl cd be high up and still 'in' -
....and England scored 506 on the first day of the Test in Pakistan :)
The whole of the ball is not over the line, Roy. There is a very, very small percentage of it in play.
your picture n the paper suggests the goal could of been OK as not all the ball is over all the line. Hope var had a good angle like they do for goal line technolagy using chips
Just watched the Spain v Japan highlights, that ball was well and truly over the line!!!!!a blind man could see it!!
Lucky for Spain it didnt matter. By the looks of things they wanted to play Morocco next.
The whole of the ball has to be over the line - same as for when a goal is scored. The picture clearly shows a small percentage of the ball which is still in play.
