My view is that it’s all ancient history.
Very clever and quite funny. I believe that was the year many a Scot took to the bottle :-)
I was at Wembley in 1966. OK I was at the other end but it clearly went over the line by 3 feet.

By the way, Germany's equaliser should have been chalked off for hand ball - so karma.
Envy is an ugly emotion.
To redress the balance:
Did the whole of the ball cross the line?
I thought that it was funny!
In any sport you take what you can get because you can be sure it will go against you at some point:
Remember this?

My view is that it didn't matter to the result; and controversial issues occur all the time, the ref decides.
Then of course the most famous one of all:

Lol ‘ the cheats that they are ‘.
So a decision went our way once, how upsetting for our north of the border friends.

10.08 who?
piggy, I believe anne was quoting from your video. Basically it was an Anglophobe Scot, claiming England were cheats because a decision went their way.
Piggy. It’s what the commentator said……… I thought it funny . :-)
Ttt. Calm yourself down , this DID happen a wee while ago you know .
I'm calm, I accept the Scots hate us.

I know anne, i was just winding up ttt!
As I told my sons years ago, the Scots, Welsh and Irish will always hate you because they are absolutely gutted that through a tiny Geographical variation they just missed out on being English. As I said envy is an ugly emotion.
I think it's plain that the ball didn't cross the line but the Azeri linesman thought differently and that really is all that matters.
