Ireland are number one at the moment, but my money is on France for the WC. They’re a joy to watch, their quick ball and explosivenes s is super impressive, plus they’ve got home advantage. Ireland did well, but I felt today’s score flattered them; England turned up today, and I wonder what would have happened if the iffy sending off hadn’t happened.

I agree but ich, even without the iffy sending off I think Ireland would have won, but 14 against 15 spoilt it a bit.
England will make the semi in France (I’m convinced of this because of the talent we’ve got and what Borthwick did with Leicester last year), but outside of England,” winning, which they won’t, I’d like to see France do it just because I adore the way they play.
Let’s hope for a northern hemisphere team to win…other than Wales.
