I stopped subscribing 2 years ago, now I watch the highlight show on C4 which means I avoid the result until then, but not any more. I now look at the result first to see if it's worth watching. I watched start this time because Verstappen was not on pole, well it didn't matter Hamilton got taken at the first corner. Usual procession ensues MV wins!
I stopped watching when the stewards cheated Hamilton in the final race a couple of years back. Don't even watch the highlights or replays now.
Nothing to do with the drivers any more. You could put any driver on the grid in the Red Bull and they'd win. Its all about engineering now. They should all be given the same car (like thats ever going to happen!)
You are in the minority lads..since 2022 F1 track attendance over 22 races has risen above 5 million. You only need to look at the orange army to see the Max effect.
Question Author
20:07 yes that was that Aussie idiot cheated Hamilton, I was disgusted at that too.
Question Author
Ryzen, well no doubt the Orange army are happy but it's the sponsors and thus the TV audience that are the biggest revenue generators.
Cant remember anyone moaning when Hamilton was winning!!

sddsddean: "They should all be given the same car (like thats ever going to happen!) " - they did that a few years back, it was called the A1 grand prix series, died a death, no one watched it.
Question Author
well Hamilton wasn't winning every race was he?
Question Author
Red Bull have won every single race this year.
6 drivers titles on the bounce :-)..and robbed of a 7th..now thats boring
When was it ever not boring?

There's always been a team that wins every race. ( unless they breakdown ).
Max is a good driver in a great car...Hamilton is a good driver in a slower car....not rocket is it??
Question Author
ryzen, "6 drivers titles on the bounce :-)..and robbed of a 7th..now thats boring " - err nope have you ever watched F1? you seem to have no idea. Hamilton won 7 in 12 years and was cheated out of the 8th.
It's the world, Tora, you just have to live with it. Not worth upsetting your equilibrium over, the sport is run by people who think they know what the punters want but unfortunately those punters are American and Americans invented the word 'winningest'.
It's what THEY want to see as they grow the US audience.
Take a look at the real motor sport. MotoGP. A motor with the essentials to put the maximum power onto the road. Men with nerves of steel riding at speeds over 360 kph with a sheet of leather between their flesh and the tarmac.

Yes ttt...he won 6 on the bounce(that means one after the other)and his first with McLaren in 2008...7 in total..get it?
//Yes ttt...he won 6 on the bounce(that means one after the other)//

Except that he hasn't. The most consecutive titles LH has won is four, from 2017 to 2020.

//You could put any driver on the grid in the Red Bull and they'd win.//

Except Sergio Perez, that is. He's in an identical car and has managed just two wins, two seconds and two thirds from the eleven races so far this year. Fernando Alonso has been on the podium as many times as Sergio has.

ryzen: "Yes ttt...he won 6 on the bounce(that means one after the other)and his first with McLaren in 2008...7 in total..get it? " - no he did not win 6 on the bounce. Here's a clue, you are allowed to do research before you make a part of yourself.
6 not including 2016..the year Max won in Spain when the Mercs collided and Nico Rosberg won the title :-)
