Hello,
I hate questions like these but I've answered loads.
What about something along the lines...
In my last job the boss called a team meeting to discuss taking on new staff. Someone was leaving next week and we he had not had time to cover their position. The supervisor had suggested that we should advertise for two members of staff as we had more work load/ busier times ahead. We discussed the situation and I suggested I could work one extra day a week until a suitable candidate was found. Some other people then volunteered also. After a few weeks of this new system some of us decided we did not mind the extra work load and enjoyed the pay increse so we stuck to this system. The boss is happy and so are the employees. Just an idea, maybe it will spur you on to come up with something for your work place, good luck!
