Can anyone come up with some interesting rituals that could be produced for an A-level picture. Ideally something fairly subtle and would generate a reaction etc. Thanks.

there are tons of interesting rituals in religion like visiting mecca for muslims or the jewish wedding ceremony or even a christian baptism. These are all rituals. But you could also look at social and cultural rituals such as girls putting on makeup or guys shaving.
