New Quiz in case you missed it

Just in case you missed the earlier plug.

Quizzes for Charity's Summer Quiz in aid of Asthma UK is out. Closing date is October 1st. �100 first prize, lots of other prizes too.
For a quiz send �7 (payable to Quizzes for Charity) to QfC, 196 Telford Avenue, Stevenage, Herts, SG2 0AU. The quiz can be send by email, otherwise a SAE would be appreciated.
The entry fees can be Gift Aided to the charity.

No offence but �7 seems a little steep.

Very good value for money,where else can you get a months entertainment for �7 plus at least �5 of the entry fee goes to a very good cause.
Go on Squarebear give it a go it is an excellent quiz.

It is higher than most quizzes on this site, but it is a bit more expansive than some. Also we only run two General Knowledge ones per year, the prizes on offer are a bit larger too. There are charity quizzes which cost more (eg Save the Children, Altzeimers etc). It is also cheaper than the regular monthly quizzes which aren't for charity.

As Curley says at least �5 goes directly to the charity and can be gift aided making the amount larger. The actual percentage of the remaining �2 depends on the number of entrants; the more entrants the more of the extra �2 can be donated.
