Liverpool for the title?
10 Answers
As a Liverpool fan i would not have give a fig roll for their chances at the start of the season but despite not playing at all well and dropping points at home the likes of manure and Chelsea consistely fail to take advantage!
With the manure off to Tokyo now and the return of torres imminent plus Chelsea being hopeless at the bridge could it be Liverpool?

but u never know... bring torres back and if keane gets his confidents back, and our midfield contributes the goals then there will b high hopes :) xx

Chelsea won't win it until Big Phil gets that midfield sorted out. You CANNOT, not EVER, NEVER, play Deco, Mikel, Ballack, Lampard AND Cole in the same team and expect results. It might work away from home, where home teams are expected to "come out of their shell", but at home any well-drilled team is going to contain a side whose line-up consists of what has effectively FIVE central midfielders. It's really a case of square pegs in round holes. Another problem is the lack of strength in depth. Kalou and Malouda could both do a job out wide, except they are not good enough.
Anyway, returning to your question,Liverpool could win the title, but they won't. My top 4 at the start of the season was 1. Man U ,2. Chelsea , 3. Liverpool, 4. Arsenal and I ain't seen anything yet to make me want to change my mind.

I am not a liverpool supporter, but I am an admirer of them. Sounds strange, but in my opinion they lack incisiveness up front. Torres is off the boil, Keane can't score goals and Kuyt lacks pace. They do not have the ability to go for the jugular when it requires. Gerrard is ina class of his own, but you cannot expect him to score 20goals this season from mid-field. Good luck anyway.
