oh, I remember seeing Dickie Jeeps but out of deference to your youth I won't have him in my team. Same for David Duckham. Guscott and Jason definitely, though. You got excited when they got the ball in their hands, and you can't say that about Toby Flood.

Yes, it was donncha o'callaghan I was trying to think of.

I've got another thread, picking a Lions squad ... I think I'll add him to that.

Dublin was expensive, but lovely. Trinity College was beautiful. James Joyce was there, and Sam Beckett, I think.

We stayed in a hotel half way along the road from the town centre out towards Lansdowne Road. It was lovely.

I was the one drinking halfs of Guinness ...

glad you met messrs joyce and beckett-was down on a day trip to dublin a couple of weeks back -have never been there too often and have never stayed there
as i am from n ireland , i assume your attempt at 'down south' speak was fine
