Playing darts

I can throw quite a mean dart, but I can't work out the finishing. Is there a method of working out what you need so you end up on a double?

Get yourself a winmau Ton Machine, pocket dart scorer, its small and it subtracts your scores and tells you what you need to finish or will tell you how to finish any score, ive had one for a while now, there great, you can get them of ebay.
