Here's a hard one: How can a try be scored when the scorer's feet are in touch?

Mr Chipps.....ask joggerjayne....we had this some months ago.

Winger kicks ball down the field and chases after in touch all the way. Tha ball goes over the opponent's goal line and the winger then touches the ball down, whilst he is still in touch...........TRY

Oops, I missed that one. Absolutely correct, with the caveat that the said winger must touch the ball down only, not drop on it, gather it or hold it as he is then deemed to be in possession of the ball.
Mr Cipps....no problem.....I found it hard to believe when it was first posted.
I didn't know the answer.

But I do now !!!
