Nissan Serena Rear hub
I have a 1997 Serena and for the mot this year had to have the wheel bearing replaced, after a week or so it developed a grating noise from the same wheel that the bearing had been replaced in, the garage that fixed it said that it would need a replacement hub as the old hub was bedded for the old bearing, i was later told that you cannot get rear hubs for the Serena therefore i would probably have to have the whole rear axle replaced (which will be very expensive), i spoke to a pal of mine that works for a japenese car secialist garage and he said he had never heard that you could not get rear hubs for the Serena, does anyone know if this is the case and is it going to cost me a fortune for a complete axle? i could get one from a scap yard but then second hand parts can sometimes be a vicious circle.
