100% agree with Jayne, I think it was outrageous that the fans had to pay to watch the reserves. MU got what they deserved for disrespecting the sport as a whole and certainly for disrespecting Everton and indeed the whole FA cup. The pitch weren't the best but it's the same for both teams, not relevant to MU losing at all. Typical whinning Fergie, blame anything but himself.
Fergusson has been doing the same for years and winning.
You could say the team he put out in the entire run of the Carling cup was "weak", but as Sammy Lee said yesterday about Arsenal, what exactly is week.
Yes he played three kids but one of those kids had scored 2 goals in the previous 2 matches and he has a lot of big games coming as well.
Yes he complained but then so did David Moyes and he won.
The pitch isn't of premisership standard simple as.

I think the pitch has been relaid five times since 2007 and still not suitable, there's eight games to be played on it before they try again. one of them been an England WC qualifier.
I think it's all been said about Sundays game except that the so-called weakend United side took Everton all the way to penalties (always 50/50), it's not as though we lost in open play. but well done to Moyes and co. I hope you win it.
