I thought it was Wenger who moaned about the pitch?
Fergie is just em-bare-arsed because he messed up.

He thought he could beat Everton without all of his best players. He was wrong.

He should just say ... "Sorry guys, I fcuked up this time".

If you want to claim the credit for your successes, you have to accept the crap for your c0ck ups.

100% agree with Jayne, I think it was outrageous that the fans had to pay to watch the reserves. MU got what they deserved for disrespecting the sport as a whole and certainly for disrespecting Everton and indeed the whole FA cup. The pitch weren't the best but it's the same for both teams, not relevant to MU losing at all. Typical whinning Fergie, blame anything but himself.
Fergusson has been doing the same for years and winning.

You could say the team he put out in the entire run of the Carling cup was "weak", but as Sammy Lee said yesterday about Arsenal, what exactly is week.

Yes he played three kids but one of those kids had scored 2 goals in the previous 2 matches and he has a lot of big games coming as well.

Yes he complained but then so did David Moyes and he won.

The pitch isn't of premisership standard simple as.
"weak" :-(
I think the pitch has been relaid five times since 2007 and still not suitable, there's eight games to be played on it before they try again. one of them been an England WC qualifier.

I think it's all been said about Sundays game except that the so-called weakend United side took Everton all the way to penalties (always 50/50), it's not as though we lost in open play. but well done to Moyes and co. I hope you win it.

Kidd72 When Spurs played Man Utd in the Carling Cup the Spurs had their weakest side out but they took them to the penalty shoot out!

Spurs have a strong side? Well shiver mi' timbers.

Cup ties are always difficult to call after the quarters but duly noted. My point been the way some of the posts on here are, you'd think the Toffees thrashed United before HT.

We're simply not as good as we think we are, are we ;-)
In reality Everton are the only ones that should be ashamed - couldn't beat Man Ure kids even in extra time and needed a dodgy penalty decision aswell
I think the 14 players Man U played with cost 120 million, don't blame us we can only beat the team that's in front of us.
123everton, I hope you do. however do the math's on that one when it comes around.
