Best budget camcorder for winter filming?

I am going snowboarding in new zealand soon and i want a half-decent camcorder on a budget.
I would most likely be filming other people boarding so a helmet cam is not what im looking for.
Just a smallish camera with wind filter/noise reduction, decent optical zoom and a steady shot.

being weatherproof would be a bonus too.

(dont want much do i, haha)
