Parking near Wembley

Does anyone know a good place to park near Wembley or near a tube station on the same line as Wembley stadium? Am going there a week on Sat to watch Shrewsbury in the play-offs, driving down via the M40, and was wondering if anyone had any usefull info?

Last time I went down by car ( coming from Manchester area ) we parked at Watford and took the tube from there.

The stadium has a huge car park. You could park in Park Royal & tube in. Lots of free spaces in housing estates.

Yeah, don't want to park at the Stadium itself, as the traffic around there was murder last time, hence the idea of parking car elsewhere and getting the tube in. Aprk Royal sounds do-able, as its at the end of the M40. Anywhere in particular? Street names??

How about travelling in by rail rather than tube? That way you can park at Banbury or Princes Risborough.

Yes, thats an idea. Was thinking maybe Beaconsfield for the train, or Uxbridge for the tube? Would parking be a problem at either?

Park at Uxbridge - big car park opposite tube station - then straight through to Wembley Park

park in morrison car park in Kingsbury then get the tube straight to Wembley, loads of people do that

Anywhere on the Watford - Hemel Hempstead line takes you to within 10 minutes walk of the ground and is not too crowded on the way home.
