no score draw points

After watching the Man U v Arsenal match, i was thinking... shouldnt a 0-0 match be 0 points each... that way it get teams fighting for a win rather than both team who need a draw being a boring and not attacking. Would this not liven a match up and rid of 0-0 games?

no score draw = 1pt
score draw = 2pt
home win = 3pts
away win = 4pts

Hi Eurox !
I think Steg has a good point with his suggestions.
Controversially I would give points for Goals scored i.e
3-3 Draw, 3 points each, 0-0 Draw Nil points. The more Goals you score the more points you earn.

I think the way it is, is brilliant nothing wrong with it at all.

We don't want it to end up like rugby, where even a losing team gets points.
