how the hell can real afford kaka and ronaldo?
when i heard kaka had signed for real i thought ronaldo was staying put.Ive just heard united have accepted a 80m bid for him thats crazy, i hope he doesnt break his leg in the first game.

....a bit harsh on any player. As much as I'll be gutted to see him go I still appreciate his skill, talent and the 118 Goals he has given us in 291 appearances over the past six seasons.

Apparently they only have to pay that amount in instalments over 8 years - however, it is still an obscene amount of money.
Incidentally, is it true that a few years ago the Spanish government stepped in and wrote off a colossal amount of debt that Real Madrid owed ( somewhere in the region of �300 milliln ) ?
