I had setanta and sky sports, I subscribed for the golf and the naff prem footy, the golf is what I will miss, I still have sky sports

hi Dot, do u know what happens to anyone who has subscribed to it. my son took out a subscription and we dont know if he should contact the bank to cancel it now this has happened.

We are not sure how to access the company address either if its still possible.

Can anyone help please

not sure what happens, the website says it is refusing to accept direct debits, I will phone my bank tomorrow just to make sure I cancel the DD

I pay direct debit for Setanta, monthly in advance, so shall be contacting my bank to cancel the D/D in the morning.
It seems there is the liklihood of Sky taking the football fixtures from EPSN who have bought the rights, and the subscription would be paid to Sky along with the subscription for Sky Sports channel. But I suppose we'll have to wait and see if that deal comes off. It's most aggravating. At present Setanta channel is showing "No Satellite Signal", so it looks as if it has already been switched off.

Setanta stopped transmitting in the UK at 6pm this evening.

On a different thread, Postdog says that on tonights news it says that the administrators will be cancelling all direct debits, but I think to be on the safe side, it's still better to cancel personally at the bank.

Yes cancel the D/D at your bank and get a copy of the cancellation at the3 same time cos banks are not the most reliable establishments when it comes to efficient paperwork!
