... back on terra firma. Back in Angleterre. Back at work :-(

Have come back to multiple swine flu cases in my area, umpteen paranoid patients jamming my phone line, crappy weather & I haven't got a clue who won Wimbledon. (Hope it wasn't Murray - let him wait another year or two....)

Good news is: only 3 minor injuries whilst sailing. All limbs present & intact. Only multiple bruises, one cut & 2 scalded fingers - that must be a record.

Nice to see you back salla.
Did you enjoy your jaunt though?, that's the thing.

Tres bon merci. Lots of sun sand & sax. Must have visited over 15 different places, & lots of lovely islands off the Morbihan & The Vendee. My French improved no-end. Saw some very tasty Frog's legs (& thighs). Met some very bizarre characters, drank a lot of wine, ate a lot of scallops.

The only downside was the blocking of the toilet pipe on board for 4 days (I got the blame; typical). The stench on Le Grand Unblocking was unbelievable - a woman could not be physically capable of that... :-(

salla.

Just back from breakfast.

NowAB has been crap since you went and you have missed absolutely nothing. Without your protection, I have been completely exposed with the result that, the people who have no time for methe odd one LOL.have indulged in a frenzy of feeding

Knobby was going to murder Dot, but they then made up.

JJ started an enthralling thread ofguess what?...bl00dy fartingyet again. Although you are into it if I remember.

Me ? banned..came back as Mohne, but was sussed after about 10 mins.you know me, I just dont do low profileLOL

Before you went away, I meant to tell you that it was possible that you would be exposed to physical, sexual challenges and that as far as I was concerned, you could let your principles down (only your principles LOL) and let him kiss you.

Good to have you back

sqad
well, apart from the blocked toilet (and I nearly gagged when I read your description, lol), it looks like you had a jolly good time.

I'm not even having a holiday this year, so it's nice to read about other peoples.

I am "into farting" ??? What sort of gel do you take me for?!!! I must admit it is nice now I'm home to be able to let rip - Capt'n Plaid is too well-behaved on that score....

I am so pleased you have given me belated post-dated permission to kiss the Skipper. I must admit I did allow the odd peck. Or should that be pecker?

I have some funny stories, which will undoubtedly be revealed in the fullness of time.

Thanks for my welcome home. Good to be back. Not. (not at work anyhow).

Woohoo!!! Hey salla!!! Glad to hear you had a great time! (Apart from the toilet incident) Hope the injuries were not the result of too much vino!

Feds won Wimbledon by the way x
Hello sallabananas - you won't know me as am new although I was on AB about 3 years ago - so I just wanted to introduce myself - where did you sail to?
Question Author
The scalds were a result of washing my smalls in the galley sink when I'd forgotten the motor had been running & it was HOT. The cut was from the winch after a particularly strong tack. The vino injuries were more mental than physical....!!! (Made a fool of myself with a Pirate, but it was La Festivale so I was not arrested for indecency).
salla.......Pericat is OK.

She fancies me, but dare not admit it to herself....LOL
Or anybody else either sqad LOL

Hi Pericat - welcome back.
If sqad's given you the thumbs-up, that's ok with me. But I have to warn you - now that I am back, I am Numero Uno Bird - OK?!!!! Understand that fact my love, and we will get on ok.

(Don't mean to sound intimidating - I'm a pussy really) xx

I (we) sailed from Benodet in S-W Brittany as far down as the Loire - taking in Concarneau, Vannes, Auray, Roche Bernard, Guerande, the islands of Gulf de Morbihan, Isle de Groix, Belle Isle, Isle Houat amongst others. Wanted to get as far down as La Rochelle but the 3rd week gave us unexpected strong wind (must have been the scallops...)

Like john Cleese and the two ronnies i know my place. Holiday sounds lovely just a pity there's a coming home bit eh?
Question Author
If it wasn't for my bairns (24 & 26 year old bairns) & my parents, I don't think I would have come back peri. I could quite easily leave it all behind..... I would of course miss Tara-ra-bum-ti-eh and Lil, but they would be visiting every few weeks.

Sweets vibra? I 'et 'em all. And the pastries, and the caramels, and all the pies....

Where in uk are you salla?
Question Author
Lincolnshire.
Very flat but has its peaks of excitement if you know where to look !
And it probably gets better weather that here
welcome back salla, you have not missed much! xxxx
Question Author
I mis-read that at first cazzz - thought you said "you haven't been missed much..."

I thought, huh, that's nice xx
