has the winter olympics ever been in the southern hemisphere?

Do you think scotland will ever hold it, especially seeing as climate change means that the uk will get colder.

They've never been held south of the Equator, see below:

and I can't see that anywhere in Scotland has the infrastructure to be able to hold them or the guarantee of sufficient snow. I'd love to see it, but doubt it will ever happen. And isn't climate change supposed to mean we get warmer?

yes but because it will cut the gulf stream off from us, we will get colder, remember we are as far north as parts of canada . . .
