Put BBC2 on. It's the longest game in history, currently tied at 2 sets all and 50 games each!!!! in the last set. The score boards has broken and just shows blank now. They have been playing for 9 straight hours.

51 games each now. BBC2 are putting it on for another hour.
Been watching it for the last three hours. I bet they are completely knackered when they come off.
am i right in saying the winner plays tomorrow??

I keep flicking between that and the football. I believe they have just had to have a change of ballboys/girls due to the long hours.
It's a match with 160 aces - not a rally in sight.

Credit though to the chap who has been serving second for 50 games.

At this rate, they'll still be playing each other :-)

This is the thing with the men's game. It's just power smashes and you don't stand a chance. The woman's game is much better to watch.
They have only, well I say only, been playing for 6 hours. It was held over from last night because of bad light. Looks like it may well be again!
I only usually watch tghe final but have been drawn to it like a moth to a lightbulb!
Driving me,the Daughter and cat nuts...Keep flicking over between it and the big bad Germans...
55 - 54 now!
The American looks as though he is going to collapse!
He does barb, but he keeps bringing out those big serves. Amazing!
6ft 9ins I bet his back is killing him and have you seen the size of his feet!
I'm exhausted watching them. Makes you wonder how long they will let them play?
They will be there at midnight!

What stamina!
Question Author
The commentator just said that this last set alone has gone on longer than any other full tennis match in history.
What is it now, husband has football on
Question Author
58-59
Ooh barb - you know what they say about the size of a bloke's feet?
Question Author
And now it's 59-59 and here we go again!
