Actually most of the male mates are gay and don't seem to have the first idea about footie etc,,,,quite knowledgeable when strictly is back on tv though... sorry boys...

yes!!!! supporting the dutch as my hubby's aunt/uncle/cousins live there. hope they win, but spain may well be in with a good chance as they beat the germans...x

I'll be supportng Spain, cos i said from the start they'd win so I'll see it through. Don't mind at all who it is out of the two really. Just enjoying some summer footie! :-)

Can't stand F1, never watch it, it's so boring, watching cars go round and round a track in a race where the first car to the first bend often winszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

plus how can it be classed as a real 'race' when team tactics dictate a driver must finish ahead of his team mate, even though that team mate may be leading and likely to win?

It is nice to see there are other ladies like me who like football (I'm not a fan of F1 though I feel much the same as 'joeluke' on that one.
Yeah, I suppose I am a domestic goddess, I'll be a conveyor belt too on Sun. from fridge to armchair.
If I had to choose between S come D & Football, I would choose football, Whoops, does that make me 'Butch'??

A matter of taste I suppose. I just find it totally boring watching blokes kicking a ball around. Love the whole buzz of F1 and the whole team effort that goes into it, including the skill of the engineers who develop the cars and the mechanics, etc. that re so talented. Also the fans are much classier and there are no hooligans (said tongue in cheek JL, before you have a go at me).

I can actually understand that people like to play football, but watching it is different. Thank goodness the men in my family aren't footie fans either!!
