1st off fantastic achievement by our athletes, only downside for me was the coverage by the bbc commentators who kept on and on and on and on and on about the injuries the british athletes had before the games,never heard about athletes from other countries going on and on about it!!
when someone did not make a final you got"oh well he or she had been injured for some time" well if you aint fit you should not have gone in the 1st place its obvious they were not quite good enough to make it.
but mo farah and jess ennis what a pair of stars well done to you both!!

Agreed, well done to all the athletes.

As for the BBC, far too much chat. It got exceedingly boring listening to the "guests" all being asked the same questions over and over again.

They were all brilliant but especially enjoyed watching Michael Rimmer in the 800m as he comes from my hometown and my son runs for the same club as him!

Probably because it was too expensive.

Have you noticed how many empty seats there are at football matches these days? With the increase in VAT coming in 2011 and the associated price rises, I wonder if the Olympics in 2012 will be a sell out every day?
