Today Martin O'Neill has resigned as Villa Manager, what a shame, was a great asset to Villa and a fellow Northern Irelander!

I think his hands were tied in the end oscarina, yes he is a great manager but I think the american owners want to make money at the expense of the club.

bad season ahead for villa now.

Martin O'Neill is a great manager and any club would be lucky to have him. Its a shame he's left Villa, I always had a bit of a soft spot for them.

They also made a loss of £30 million last year mainly due to a wage bill of £70.9 million.
The owner may be a very wealthy man but very wealthy men are that for a reason.
O'Neill has obviously been told that cuts have to be made,he won't be getting any of the Milner money, and has probably jumped before his reputation gets tarnished by a poor season for the defeated 1892 F A Cup finalists :-)

I reckon Martin O'Neil believes the England job will be available soon, and wants to be available if it does.
Martin's a foreigner. How can he manage England?
He's British
Anyway, what about Sven and Fabio?
