Hi I want to buy a surprise ticket for my husband for the match on the 28th Dec (xmas pressies!) I have registered online to buy a ticket but havent a clue which seat is the best - can anyone help me please? Thank you :-)

If you can get them, go for the tickets in front of the corporate hospitality area. (C18, C19).

Next best would probably be those seats on the opposite side of the ground. (L30, L31, L32)

As Butch indicates, they change ends at half time!

Some people do like to be behind the goals but the generally accepted view is that the best place to be is near to the centre line. (That's why corporate hospitality areas, and the boxes for club directors, are always in the centre of one of the 'side' stands).

Theoretically, I could explain the off-side rule to you but, according to most of the players, I've never got it right once during the thousands of matches which I've refereed!
