Just caught up with MOTD as out most of the weekend, Carlton.........absolutely unbelievable results, goals and games on Saturday.......and Chelsea getting beaten 1-0 by Liverpool, who thorughly deserved their win....did you notice whingy John Terry at the end of the game.......such a bad loser that bloke.

Only a bit gutted for Arsenal who let slide a 4-0 lead, to be totally outplayed in the second half of the match by a Newcastle team that were simply magnificent. :0)

Man Utd and Chelsea dropped points and we pinched a point so overall not a bad weekend of footie in my opinion.

Now......Denmark V England friendly on Wednesday night...........c'mon you, Danes!....lol
As an Arsenal fan, this lifted my spirits hugely this weekend. We messed up a 4-0 lead but at least we remain the only club to hold the unbeaten trophy. Thanks Wolves!
Inspired me to think we could beat Chelsea on Sunday - some great results this weekendas far as I'm concernedand plenty of goals too. Great weekend of football!
Arsenal keep muffing their chances to catch up, though.

Whenever Man Utd or Chelski lose, and Arsenal have easy opponents, they fluff it.

And I'm not just saying this because they lost me a tenner on Saturday.
Would that be the sweet FA cup ,,?
Too right, milly :0)

Chelle, Liverpool were excellent yesterday.......great formation, brilliant manager's tactic's and outplayed and frustrated Chelsea completely....gave them nothing.......man of the match for me was Jamie Carragher......superb in defence.

I hope they offer the full time contract to Kenny D, as he is the man for the job imo.
( i'm sure they will and announce it soon )

Agree....great weekend of football :0)
Forgot to say to all Wolves fans, credit where credit is due....you played brilliantly against Man Utd and just gioes to show that you can play against all the big teams. I do hope you stay up the Premiership........Mick McCarthy is 'the Bees'......from the ' I like what i say, and i'll say what i bloody well like' school of thinking.......great fella :0)
Wolves = Giant slayers. Good on them, makes the league more interesting rather than a fore gone conclusion!
Hmm the Invincibles only beaten 6 times in thier "Invincible" run
I live in the "neutral zone"....An area split between the Dingles(Wolves) and the righteous West Brom.
You needed your sunglasses on yesterday with all those custardy yellow shirts everywhere.
Dark times indeed....Fergie out!
Yogi - John Henry has said he is "very impressed" with Kenny as a man and as a manager and that he has "surpassed our expectations". Watch this space, contract en route, with comments like that and results like we have had they would be fools not to offer him the job.

i agree it was great to see Carragher back, a fantastic team performance and Kenny certainly answered those critics about his tactical knowledge. As jd has said they would be fools indeed not to let him have the job
the fact that he's beaten Chelsea away with exactly the same players Hodgson couldn't get to even draw with Wolves at home.. minus Torres, kind of says it all. He's far surpassed my expectations not only in performances but in class also. It's almost as if he's been letting everyone else have a go and just decided to come in and show everyone how it's done! I think he's a dead cert to get the job!
LFC contained Anelka, Drogba AND Torres. That is some challenge, they were not given an inch in our half, tactically superb - only those who judge a game on how many goals are scored would be disapointed.
As above - same team that Woy had 6 weeks ago. The passion and believe is back and its exciting to be a LFC fan again!!
Dalglish out thought Ancellotti. He played wing backs against a 4-3-3 midfield was basicaly 5 v 3 and Acellotti never changed it.

Oh there is one major difference in personel apart from Dalglish - Steve Clark.
And an absence at Chelsea - Ray Wilkins???
Since Wilkins has gone Chelsea have been rubbish - I know they had a little run, but they never looked convincing.
JD - that means I agree :-D
That 'not' so thick Mick did something right on Saturday evening that's for sure. However I do believe that SAF will shift the United team up a gear now, especially with the Champions league just around the corner.
Though i dont know him myself, a good mate of mine up at QPR is great pals with Ray Wilkins, and has mentioned the circumstances behind his appalling dismissal at Chelsea.

I'd just say that Ancelotti fought for him to stay there............He was treated badly. He'll bounce back though.....watch this space, as options are that he may just become the new Andy Gray on Sky Sports...........:0)
