Plane - Spotting........gettit?

Our eldest son is currently somewhere over the Atlantic on a plane bound for New York, with actress Jessica Alba on board. His group spotted her walking past whilst checking in also. Possibly more celeb's on this earlier flight aboard too, as LOADS of paparazzi at Heathrow this afternoon, probably due to some flying back to the U.S after last nights BAFTA awards.

Our sons original flight was cancelled earlier today and due to leave about now, so his college group were all there early and offered to book on an earlier flight option. BA are good, eh?

Have you ever seen at an airport/or been travelling on a plane with anyone in the public eye? and did you get to talk to them or meet them?

Hiya redman,

He's been really excited about it for days now, as going with 22 other college students and 3 teachers......he has been there with me a few times before, but not the same going with the 'old man' and the whole family on occasions too, is it?.....lol.

First time without any of us 'cramping his style', so i hope he really loves and enjoys it.....his itinery is brilliant, and loads to see...Back in a week. :0)

I flew on the same plane as the boxer Joe Bugner. He used to live in the same town as me, I didn't get to speak to him though

When I hear of others travelling abroad yogi, it brings back a lot of good memories from my MN days !
I'm OK yogi but still trying to come to terms with my Relationship problems but that's life I suppose.

I was tapped on the shoulder and asked in a clear cut crystal accent if I would mind stepping back so this man could pass by,it was James Mason.We were in the Beverley Wiltshire Hotel in LA in about 1973.

On planes I have travelled with Robert Carlyle (spotted by his funny shaped ears); Charlie Dimmock, actor from The Fly.

On trains, Duncan Goodhew, Brian Blessed (regularly), Penelope Keith, Brian Forbes.

There are others but I can't remember them at the mo. Of all of them the only one I wanted to speak to was BB - a legend!

Great list of people, DTCfan.........met two of your list.....Connolly, at a function in London, who was charming, polite and funny and Brosnan about 10 years or more ago at a premiere for Thomas Crown Affair...he was very chatty to our group but was ushered upstairs by a grumpy old sod......lol

Met Gloria Honeyford on a Virgin flight. She got off the red eye from New York to Uk looking immaculate, and stood behind Paul Young at the check in desk...very tall, beautiful speaking voice, charming to the check in girl. M and S in the King's Road Chelsea is good for celeb spotting. John Wayne drank in my Chelsea local when he was over here in the ? early 70's late 60's.
have been on a train with Heather Mills too......
