FIFA World Cup 2010 – England’s TV Schedule
With less than a month to go until England kick-off in South Africa, many football fans will be asking their bosses for afternoons off and arranging World Cup parties to celebrate the biggest day in the football calendar.
England's World Cup campaign kicks off against the USA on Saturday, June 12 at 7.30pm UK time, with the second match against Algeria taking place at the same time on Friday, June 18.
ITV will have the privilege of showing the first two England matches at the World Cup, with the BBC showing the third group game and, if Capello’s men make it to the knock-out stages, the round of 16 and quarter final games too.
The BBC will host the very first game of the World Cup (South Africa vs. Mexico) on Friday June 11, so those who want to watch the opening ceremony will need to tune in.
