optical mouse google streetview

i have an optical mouse and when i use it on google streetview it goes erratic and won't let me pan to the right -it goes haywire
I unplugged it and drivers reinstalled , worked for a bit and keeps doing it again.I can't seem to open it to clean it?. Settings seem to be fine aswell
It and pc is only a few weeks old and (***) device manger say it is working fine

Sometimes mine will get a hair or cloth fiber between the pad and the lens. They don't open to clean, its just a light. If its just in Google maps its one thing(like google software), if its all the time its another. You can try to adjust your mouse under the control panel but its unlikely to help I think.
