Laptop to TV Picture Problem
When i have connected my laptop to my TV via a HDMI cable, the picture on the TV is significantly reduced.
I've checked the TV settings but all seems okay so i don't know if i need to change something on the computer.
I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to things like this so some help would be really appreciated.

Sounds as if the signal isn't strong enough to drive both the telly and your computer.
I don't have a laptop so I don't know if one has an RF aerial input socket. If it has perhaps an aerial lead from the telly might work, using a splitter if you've only the one aerial output on the equipment you're using.
Or there's the possibility of an signal sender and receiver set up; that'd have the benefit of offering a greater distance between the two.
